Sweet Pea is a smart little jacket that features a garter stitch lace skirt and matching garter stitch bands.

Sweet Pea is a simply constructed seamless raglan sleeve cardigan knitted from the bottom up, with the front bands included in the body. The body is knitted flat and the sleeves are knitted in the round.

The pattern is for use with sport weight or fingering weight yarn and is in five sizes, from birth to 2 years (0 -3, 3 – 6, 6 – 12, 12 – 18 months and 18 months to 2 years). Detailed written instructions and an optional chart are given, as well as a schematic diagram. All measurements are given in both metric and imperial.

Any fingering or light sport weight yarn can be used. The garment requires 3 3, 3, 3, 4 125m/50g balls.
