The idea for the sweet shop hat was born from several sources of inspiration, first I was left with a lot of awkwardly small amounts of the petite wool, secondly Instagram was pushing lots of two chunky two coloured yarnicorn brioche knits my way by @claraeggers and others. Oh, and I just love a squishy hat!

42cm (48cm, 54cm, 60cm, 67cm) diameter

Yarn:

Two colours of chunky weight yarn (140m/100g), you will need equal yardage of each colour, the numbers below are yardages per colour

40g (50g, 60g, 70g, 80g)

60m (70m, 80m, 90m, 100m)

70y (80y, 85y, 95y, 105y)

Sample knitted in The Petite Wool by we are knitters in the colours ‘yarnicorn’ and ‘speckled denim’ (140m/100g)

Needles:

7mm circular needles and/or DPNs

Needle size is recommended, choose a size needed to achieve gauge
