Suggested Yarn
Ritual Dyes Maiden (90% SW Merino, 10% Nylon, 2-ply fingering weight, 400yd/100g,) Portulaca Colorway

Please use any fingering weight yarn that is accessible to you. Since this is a cabled pattern with a bit of texture, I do recommend that you use either a solid or subtly speckled yarn to best showcase the stitch pattern.

Yardage:
275, 300 (325, 350, 400) yds
251, 274 (297, 320, 366)m

Suggested Needles
US 0 (2.00mm) 32” circular needles for magic loop, or size required to achieve gauge.

Gauge
30 sts & 38 rows per 4”/10cm in stockinette stitch in the round, blocked

Materials
fingering weight yarn, stitch markers, cable needle

Techniques
Old Norwegian cast-on, cables, magic loop, heel flap & gusset, brioche, German short rows, working from a knitting chart

Construction
Sock is knit from the cuff down. After working the ribbed cuff and brioche and cabled pattern to desired ankle length, you will work the heel flap flat in the same pattern. You will then turn the heel and work decreases for the gusset while simultaneously working the brioche and cabled pattern across the top instep until you reach the final foot circumference. You will then work the remainder of the foot before decreasing for toe shaping and closing the toe with Kitchener stitch.
