Sweet Treat Baby Blanket
This pattern is my own creation and can be found on my blog: Labor of Love (http://www.tales-of-a-knitting-mom.blogspot.com), but I found the stitch pattern in Amy Swenson’s Stolen Moments Wrap pattern. I used the stitch pattern to make a baby blanket and used alternating combinations of two colors to make a subtle stripe pattern. I used one skein each of four different colors. This blanket could easily be done with more or less colors. If you want a larger blanket, you will need more yarn as this took almost every bit of each skein. On my blog, I added notes about adjusting the size of the blanket by doing more or less pattern repeats or casting on a different number of stitches. This is a quick and easy blanket once you get used to the simple lace stitch pattern.
