Sweet Treats Socks
Using my own hand-dyed self-striping colorways, I have created this pattern to celebrate the ice cream bars of my childhood! These socks let the color changes do the work and add a bit of texture to make sure the crumbs are extra crunchy! This project has all the intricate color changes without the hassle of weaving in the ends and is perfect for sock knitters on the go!
This pattern is written from the cuff down starting with a ribbed cuff then alternating between stockinette stitch and seed stitch depending on the color of the stripe being worked. When working the foot, seed stitch is used only on the top of the foot (stockinette stitch on the bottom of the foot).
This pattern was written specifically for the featured yarn but can be used with any yarn, striping or not, just choose how frequently you want to alternate between stockinette and seed stitch.
