Sweet Weekend Socks
Sweet Weekend Socks are worked separately (one-at-a-time) in the round using the magic loop technique on a single circular needle. Socks are knitted toe up and they have a neat and elegant German short row heel (also known as boomerang heel) resembling commercially produced sock heels. The ribbed fabric is stretchy and has a good fit. This kind of heel construction with no additional stitches at the instep is best suited to people with slightly slender feet.
The beige socks are knitted in Arwetta by Filcolana in the color Marzipan (977). The brown socks are knitted in the color Dark Chocolate (975). The lavender color socks are knitted in the color Lavender Frost (267).
