Come early summer, the woods near my house come alive. The forest floor is filled with white flowers and the lovely scent of Sweet Woodruff. The uses of this herb are many, but I love it most for the beauty it rings to the shady corners our woods.

There is a need for all kinds of knits in my life. Garter stitch for meditation, and sometimes something more complicated for fun and for beauty. This shawl falls into the latter. Of the three Pi Shawls in the mini-collection, this one is the most complicated. The lace is however fairly repetitive
