In 2008, we released our free Sweetheart Glovelets pattern. To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we have reimagined the original pattern -- and it’s still free! Beads create a whimsical heart design, and bring color, sparkle, and fun to your knitting.

Techniques: The design is charted only. Knitting, purling, adding beads. You will need to use dpns for this project, or magic loop if preferred.

Beads Size 6 in three (or more!) colors are used. The beads are added using a crochet hook of size 1.25-1.4 mm (or whatever method, hook size works for you).

Sizes
Small 5 ¼ (Medium 5 ¾, Large 6 ¼, Extra large 6 ¾) inches wide to be worn with ~ ½ - 1 inch negative ease, or size to your preferred fit; multiple sizes are given so you can adjust to your own yarn, gauge, and fit preferences.

Yarn Requirements One skein in plump fingering or light sport weight is all you will need

I am wearing these mitts today since it is Valentine’s Day! I made the largest size (52-53 stitch) and feel like the bead design is off center. The revised chart is in your library…you may or may not wish to use it. The other sizes don’t have enough room to move the charts.
