Inspired by the popular valentines’s candy of everyone’s youth, the Sweetheart Conversation Sock pattern includes two sizes and a variety of sayings allowing you to customize your message. Knit in a luscious 75% merino/25% nylon DK, these socks are the perfect blend of softness and durability. The 3x1 rib pattern also gives them a good amount of stretch to accommodate multiple foot sizes.

YARN: One Sweetheart DK Sock Set by Distortion Fibers, which includes two 50g skeins of DK weight yarn in a sweet speckle and seven 10g “micro” skeins in 6 candy colors plus red for the text. The total yardage is 412 yards/170 grams. MC is Sweetheart Speckle and CC are used as follows:

1 - Yellow
2 - Mint
3 - Purple
4 - Orange
5 - Pink
6 - Blue
7 - Red

NEEDLES: The Sweetheart Conversation Socks pattern is written for socks to be knit one at a time using Magic Loop, Flexi-Flips, or two circular needles.
Size US3 (3.25mm)
Size US4 (3.5mm) if desired for colorwork section
Needle sizes are a suggestion, please make sure to check your gauge, especially when substituting yarn.

GAUGE: 26 sts and 40 rows = 4 inches measured in stockinette stitch

MEASUREMENTS: Sizes 1 (2). Finished sock fits approximate foot circumference 8.25”-8.75” (9.0”-9.75”). Sock pictured is size 1 on 8.5” foot circumference. Sock measures 7” from cast-on to top of contrast-color heel and can be knit to desired foot length.
