Sweetheart Headband

This headband is a crochet beginner friendly pattern that only requires you to know: single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet and slip stitch. The entire pattern is worked in the round. This should be a fun introduction to granny squares and be a quick project to keep your ears warm!

Materials:
Koigu Kersti DK Merino Crêpe (50g) (substitute Koigu Jasmine)
6 skeins total (Kersti 50g/114yds/104m OR Jasmine 100g/242yds/221m)
1 x K0000 (natural white in example) Colour A
6 x colours that complement each other (for the hearts), 1 skein each. Colours B,C, D, E, F (25g skeins if using Jasmine)

Hook & tools:
4.0mm (G-6 US) crochet hook or 3.75mm (F/5) for a more snug fit - Tapestry needle

Note You do not need very much of each colour (other than the main colour (A and the colour for the scalloped trim (B)) so you may also use partial skeins/stash yarn for the 5 other heart colours instead of full skeins. Just make sure they are all DK weight. Also feel free to change the hearts to be all one colour, or 3 colours x 2 hearts each. The colour choices are very much up to you!
