Supplies: Measuring Tape; Yarn Needle; Eight ¾” (2 cm) Shank Buttons, Scissors
Hooks: 5.0 mm (H). 5.5mm (I) and 6.0mm (J) optional, but recommended
Sizes: To determine size, measure recipient’s bust.
Yarn: Soft Worsted yarn (ex: Red Heart Soft or Caron Simply Soft)
Skeins: 600 yards for a 36 inch (91 cm) Bust. More or less yardage depending on size needed.
Gauge: Each motif must be 1/8 of recipient’s Bust + Ease. Ease can be 1 to 4 inches (3 to 10 cm) as desired. Determine gauge by dividing Bust Measurement + Ease by 8. Hook size and/or number of rounds can adjust the size of motif.
