Sweetheart Soap was soap made in the olden days by the
Manhattan Soap Company. founded in 1890 and then changed hands to Purex (laundry detergent) corporation in 1956.

The original turtle soap cozy was made around this soap. Many have looked for the pattern and could not find it. So I decided to try and replicate it from a picture.

What I used

B or 2.25 size crochet hook

Aunt Lydia’s crochet thread in size 10

tapestry needle to sew in the ends

Note: If you use a smaller soap like i use ( Oil Of Olay )
then you will omit row 3 and move straight to row 4.
