For all lovers of sunflowers, my Sweetheart Sunflower Doily is an easy beginner pattern worked in the round with four colors to create a small, lacey doily! This pattern uses a variety of stitches and is fun and quick to make. Put your candles, flower vases, coffee mugs, or whatever you like on it, or leave it as is for a sunflower pop in your room!

Materials needed:

  • 6 mm crochet hook
  • Worsted weight yarn in colors brown, mustard yellow, yellow, and a color of your choice. (Less than one ball of each)
  • Yarn needle and scissors

Finished measurements: Roughly 9 in. X 9 in. across, from lace edge to lace edge.

Gauge: 3 DC = 3 inches. Gauge is not entirely important for this project. If you use a bigger or smaller hook/yarn, you will have a bigger or smaller doily. So use what you like!
