Sweetheart Vest
Pattern Description from Interweave Knits, Fall 2007: “Theresa Schabes works the lower body and color-work band of the Sweetheart Vest in the round before dividing for the neck and armholes. Notes:
- The lower body is worked in the round in one piece to the start of the V-neck, then worked back and forth in rows for the beginning of the neck shaping. At the armholes, the back and fronts are divided and worked separately to the shoulders.
- If a color is not used for more than three stitches, twist the nonworking color together with the working color to prevent long floats across the back of the color-work section.
Construction See notes in the above description. Stitches are picked up around the neck and armceye to knit edging.
