Sweethood gloves is fancy little project that can be finished in no time. Those gloves would make a perfect present for little explorer.
DESIGN OVERVIEW:
Each glove has three parts – palm, back part of hand and back part of thumb. After the parts are completed, a row of single crochet worked around and then all the parts join to create a glove.
As the fingers circumference for kids has a very small difference, a contrast yarn used in different weight to achieve the correct size of the gloves.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 3-4 years (5-7 years; 8-10 years):
- Palm circumference: 14(15; 17) cm / 5½(6; 6¾) inches
- Length from glove edge to top of middle finger: 14(16; 17) cm / 5½(6⅜; 6¾) inches

- Main colour yarn: 1 x 50 g DK weight
- Contrast colour yarn: • Small amount of fingering weight yarn for size 3-4 years • Small amount of sport weight yarn for size 5-7 years • Small amount of DK weight yarn for size 8-10 years
