This pattern is available from kulabradesign.com for $8.00.

Top-down, round yoke, seamless construction The pattern is for bicolored sweater; there are two options charted: with dark or light-colored main body. I got to mix different semi-solid yarn because I didn’t have enough of the same color. Those color fades aren’t described in the pattern, but you can easily mix colors by alternating colors in every round for about 20 rows (you can do more or less, that isn’t all that important). You can also embroider the owls’ eyes yellow with duplicate stitch; that really makes the owls stand out, especially if the background color is somewhat darkish.

MATERIALS:
The pattern is written for fingering-weight yarn (aprox. 400m/100 g) .

You can also use DK- or light DK yarn, but you will probably need to go down a size; check your gauge first.

You will also need some scrap yarn for the sleeve sts, a tapestry needle, a stitch marker, and circular needles:

  • 3.5mm needles for the ribbing

  • 4 mm needles for the main part

Gauge: - approximately 22 stitches and 30 rows = 10cm.

Sizes: with suggested gauge, sweater fits 84(88, 90, 96, 103, 108, 115, 124, 130) cm. bust circumference, without ease. If you want looser or tighter fitting sweater, pick a size accordingly.
