Basic cuff-down socks with a little bit of colorwork designed to showcase some of those gorgeous slub yarns that are out there these days! Features adorable fish with a scale heel flap. Suitable for sock colorwork beginners.

Pattern is charted and is read right-to-left. Terminology is standard US/UK knit terminology and only uses k, p, ktbl, p2tog, ssk, and sl.

Materials
(MC) 100g Slub sock yarn (Suggested yarn: Long Dog Yarn Slub Sock. Sample shown in Blue Hawaiian)
(CC) 50g high Contrasting, non-slub sock yarn of your choice (I used WYS Signature sock yarn in color Cayenne)
2.25mm (US Size 1), 2.75mm (US 2) knitting needles
Tapestry needle
Scissors

Gauge is approximate; it is quite difficult to accurately measure the gauge of the slub yarn. If your normal sock-knitting size is 64/66 stitches around on a 2.25mm-2.5mm, you’ll be fine.
