Swing
Swinging lines of gradient color in the Swing shawl are reminiscent of the painted desert canyons of the America Southwest. This slightly asymmetrical shawl grows with increases every row which makes it quick to knit. Short rows create a strata effect with five colors of yarn and stripes finish out the edge to tie the colors together.
This shawl is a great canvas for your favorite gradieation of fingering weight yarns, or complimentary scraps. Try high contrast colors, subtle shades as well as single color changing skeins for different yet beautiful results.
