We’ve partnered with designer Megan Williams to bring to life a sock design that could become an emblem of the idea to stand up, be visible and Swing Left in the mid-term elections.

• They can be knit toe-up or cuff-down.

• They have a soothing left-swinging motif on the front of the sock with a plain stockinette panel on the back from speedy knitting.

• They feature a slipped stitch heel and gusset, which a majority of knitters find to be the best-fitting style.

• They are well within the skill level of a beginning sock knitter and entertaining enough for more experienced sock knitters.

• They can be knit in one-color or two-colors (the two-color version has slipped stitches to make for easy color play).

• These socks are for everyone who shares the vision of a more perfect union.
