Swing Sweater to Knit
by Val Love
Quick and easy, this sweater is wider at the hem for unrestricted movement--a timeless wardrobe staple. It is worked in one piece with shoulder seams. Sleeves are knitted from shoulder to cuff. There is a 6-stitch panel down the top of the sleeve that reduces the width of the sleeve.
Short rows at the top of the sleeve make it more fitted over the shoulder; short rows are also used around the front neck for a smooth transition to the roll neck. It is the short rows that make this an intermediate pattern.
