This is a written pattern for the swirl beanie. This pattern is for an adult-sized beanie. If you want to make a child-sized beanie, I would stop increasing when there are 2 BPDCs between each FPDC.

Just a warning, this pattern is a yarn hog. I used an entire skein of Lion Brand Heartland for the hat pictured. It is nice and warm, though, so that is a plus.
