This is a pattern for a crochet beanie hat made with worsted weight (category 4) yarn, and a hook size H (5mm). The specific yarn that I used is Mary Maxim Glimmer, 100% acrylic, about 145 yards or 75 grams.

Note that this pattern is available only in one size: adult. It’s soft and stretchy.

The finished hat measures about 21 inches in circumference (plus stretch) and 8 inches in height.

The skill level is advanced beginner. I also made a detailed video tutorial (the link is included in the pattern).

The hat is made from top down.
