This pretty swirl flower brooch was designed by me for a simple but effective lovely brooch for beginner knitters. It only takes a small amount of yarn so ideal for stashbusting!

My pattern shows it knitted using 4mm needles and DK yarn, however you can make the flower using other size needles and yarn as the pattern is adaptable.

There is the option for a small flower like the one on the left in the photo, or a large flower like the one on the right. The large flower measures 2 inches across and the small 1.5 inches across.
