This easy intermediate Swirling Popcorn Slouchy Hat Pattern is all about amazing texture and making a statement. Want a chic slouchy hat? Wear it pulled a little farther back. Want a warm beanie? Fold over the brim.

The pattern requires approximately 180-200 yards of a worsted weight acrylic, though the fiber choice may be up to you. (Featured is Mainstays Basic in colorway Blanket Slate Varg.) Other required items are a USJ10/6.00 mm hook, a tapestry needle, scissors, and a pom-pom maker, size of your choice. The pattern includes notes on where the length can be adjusted for a shorter or even longer finished piece than pictured. (Please note, the amount of yarn required will likely differ than what’s written in pattern if the lenght is adjusted.)
