“You’re a wizard, Knitter!”

The inspiration for these socks comes from the amazing Harry Potter series. I grew up reading those books, and they still hold a place in my heart as an adult. This pattern is the first in a collection I am designing: The Charmingly Magic Sock Collection. The collection will be made up of 7 different sock designs, one inspired by each of the seven Harry Potter books.

The inspiration for the Swish & Flick Socks is the students first class with Professor Flitwick (Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone), where they learn the spell that saves Hermione from her encounter with the troll at Halloween…Wingardium Leviosa!
