I’m Giving Away My Best Pattern Free

If you know me, you know I love giveaways. If you didn’t know, well now you do!!! ☺️

Just over 2 years ago, I created one of my best and favorite patterns.. the Swiss Cheese Monstera Plant pattern. With this pattern, I’ve made so many sales, so many compliments and gotten tons of questions.
If you’ve been following my journey, you’ll know that I’m on a mission to teach others how to do exactly what I do… design crochet flower and plant patterns. That’s my mission this year.
I will be creating a Youtube series on crochet flower design but before I do, I wanted to start with this giveaway. I’m giving away my favorite pattern for free.

Learn the Monstera Swiss Cheese hole technique in this video and use the technique to create your own pattern. Check out the video!

A Few Monstera Fun Facts

  • Monsteras actually has fruit just like any other plant and it is known to be delicious!

  • Holes develop as the plant ages.

  • The holes in the Monstera are actually there for a very special reason. These holes, especially in the large Monstera leaves are better suited to withstand heavy rainfall and wind as they let water and sunlight pass through the holes.

  • Monstera was first discovered in 1693.

  • Monstera Adonsonii goes by these common names: Swiss cheese plant, Adanson’s monstera, or five holes plant.

  • Can grow as tall as 60 feet

  • Grows purple and cream flowers, but doesn’t flower often.

  • There are 41 species within the Monstera genus.

  • Monstera adansonii has been said to be moderately toxic to cats and dogs because of its insoluble calcium oxalates. It can cause swelling, vomiting, or burning in pets.
