Swiss Tee
About:
I called this garment the Swiss Tee because the eyelets remind me of the holes in Swiss cheese. Those holes give this top a breezy cool feel for a summer knit garment.
It is made out of cotton yarn in two pieces and seamed along the sides and shoulders. It is knit bottom up with a twisted rib, high-low hem. It can be knit as a cropped tee or the body can be knit longer if desired. After the body back and front are knit and seamed, stitches are picked up for the neck and sleeves. There are options for long and short sleeves in the pattern.
The decorative highlight of this garment is the Indian Stitch pattern just above the hem. There are video tutorial links, as well as, written instructions to help you if this is a new stitch for you.
Enjoy!
