The Winter Socks are a 64sts, cuff-down sock pattern using two 50g balls of Drops Nord in the Pearl Grey Mix (03) colourway.

Drops Nord is a slightly thicker 4ply that works up well for the winter due to the high alpaca content.

These simple socks start with a lace panel (charted and written) and then are worked in stockinette.

The pattern is written for the magic loop sock knitting method and has instructions for an eye of partridge heel flap and gusset and standard toe. They will fit an average adult female foot (foot length is adjustable).

The pattern has been tech edited and tested.

The sample is worked in Drops Nord but you can use any 4ply sock yarn for this pattern. The pattern also works well in two colour with the lace panel and the toe worked in a contrasting yarn.
