I love it when a piece is both meditative, but also fun to work at the same time! And this is it right here. Comprised of basic stitches worked in a few different ways, but striping using both a smooth yarn and a fuzzy yarn means that the stitches are simple, but you’re changing things up often enough to keep from being bored! Add in my favorite part… choosing colors, and you’ve got a perfect crochet piece.

The Sycamore Vest was originally designed as the 2023 Puget Sound LYS Tour featured crochet pattern for The Fiber Gallery.

The vest is worked in alternating stripes of Madelinetosh Farm Twist and The Fibre Company Cirro.
