Sydänystävä on kolmionmuotoinen pitsihuivi, jossa on keskisilmukan sijaan keskipaneeli. Pitsit ja kuviot neulotaan
enimmäkseen työn oikealla puolella, nurjalla puolella on kolme muistettavaa asiaa: nurjalla puolella “suljetaan” nypyt,
neulotaan muutama keskipaneelin silmukka oikein ja reunapitsi neulotaan työn molemmin puolin. Keskipaneelin ansiosta
Sydänystävä-huivi asettuu hartioille paremmin kuin samankokoinen huivi, jossa on vain yksi keskisilmukka. Ohjeessa
neuvotaan myös, miten voit halutessasi tehdä huivista isomman.

Lanka: Rose Mohair (2 kerää) tai Luxus Alpaca (3 kerää; lankaa jää yli, mutta kaksi kerää ei riitä)

Huivin koko: Ohjeen mukainen huivi on pingotettuna noin 60 cm korkea ja 140 cm leveä.

Sydänystävä (My Dear Friend) is a triangled shawl which has a central panel instead of a central stitch. The lace and nups are worked mostly on the right side of the work, but there are a few things to remember on the wrong side too: the nups are closed and some stitches of the central panel are knitted on the wrong side. The lace edging is worked on both sides of the work. Because of the central panel this shawl will sit nicely on your shoulders. Changing the size of the shawl is easy; the pattern includes advices for making it bigger.
