Adapting Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Gull Lace pattern (from her Knitter’s Almanac), this dress is a quick-to-knit pattern that keeps your brain working just enough to avoid boredom, but not so hard that you’ll want to stop knitting. I chose naturally dyed organic cotton yarns in subtle colors, but this classic stitch will stand up to brighter color combinations as well.
