2-in-1 pattern set for both the scarf and beanie!

This crochet pattern makes a quick and fashionable gift set. The sizes given in this pattern set are for an adult (size medium) but you can easily adjust the size to suit kids. The length of the scarf in this pattern is made “extra long” so you can double wrap it for extra warmth and cosiness. The pattern is worked back and forth in rows. These rows will be the vertical ribs on the beanie and scarf. This crocheted set is perfect for any winter day when you want to keep it simple and chic.

Size: One size (adult medium)
Yarn: Jarol, Shetland Mist Chunky, 80% acrylic, 20% wool
Yardage for beanie: Approx. 100g of any #5 chunky weight yarn
Yardage for scarf: Approx. 300g of any #5 chunky weight yarn
Hook size: USA J-10 (metric 6mm)
Stitches: Chain stitch, half double crochet
Finished size: Beanie is 11” (28cm) height measured from top of crown to edge (excl. pom pom) x 20” (51cm) circumference around opening edge (stretches to fit 23” circumference).
Scarf is 76” (193cm) length x 8” (20.5cm) width.
