These socks are a perfect tribute to Sydney – pretty, classic and a little bit fancy.

This pattern is perfect for tonal sock yarn but can also be knit up using a gorgeous skein of variegated or speckled yarn, depending on your mood. Or you could even go scrappy!

The pattern contains options for the heel, including the Shadow Wrap Heel – my favourite type of short row heel. It also has a lovely lateral braid and a folded, picot cuff for something different.

As with all the other patterns in my Australian City Sock Collection, there are cuff and heel options so you can build your perfect sock. This pattern includes instructions for two different heel types and provides tips and tricks for achieving the folded cuff with lateral braid.

I hope you have as much fun knitting these up as I did!

This pattern has been tech edited and fully tested. I warmly welcome and feedback or questions about the pattern.

Happy making!
Kath xx
