Sydney turtle
Make your very own Sweet Sydney turtle using the art of amigurumi!!
Parts to the project are all made worked in the round, and is perfect for crocheters moving on from beginner to developing some advanced skills.
Finished project will depend on tension; and while not particularly important, the main point is to keep your work tight to prevent stuffing/fibrefill poking through your stitches.
As a guide to tension used:
4 rounds using Sirdar yarn measures 3.5cm/1.3”
4 rounds using DMC petra cotton measures 3cm/1”
Finished project measurements:
Head-base of body= 3.5”
Head to tail= 6.5”
Shell width= 6”
Materials:
Crochet hook size 2.10mm
100g DMC Petra cotton size 3 (pink)
100g DMC Petra cotton size 3 (beige)
100g Sirdar cotton DK (blue)
Black cotton/embroidery thread/safety eyes
Stuffing/fibrefill
