Sylvan Yoke
ABOUT
This lightweight, versatile tee is designed to become a year-round closet staple. Crocheted seamlessly from the top-down all in one piece, the Sylvan Yoke is a clean, polished design with several short-rows cleverly placed at the back-neck for a comfortable fit. The eye-catching texture is created using stripes of puff stitches, giving the illusion of horizontal braids rippling from the yoke.
This pattern comes with a free YouTube tutorial for each section of the pattern!

PATTERN NOTES
Skill Level: Intermediate
Sizing: This #SizeInclusive top is written in nine sizes as follows: XS (S, M, L, XL) (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X). Make sure to follow the numbers for your size only. View full sizing chart on next page. An “x” indicates that particular instruction does not apply to your size.
Stitch Counts: Stitch counts are listed after each row/rnd in italics. If no stitch count is given, there has been no change since the previous row/rnd. If only one number is provided, it applies to all sizes.
Turning Chain: The turning chain does count as a stitch when working the puff stitch rows/rounds (it counts as 1 dc + 1 ch). The turning chain does not count as a stitch when working the hdc rows/rounds.
Right Side: The right side is the side facing you when working the hdc rounds as well as the first of the two puff stitch rounds. (The wrong side will be facing you when crocheting the second puff stitch round.) Most of the time, you will have the right side facing you. Be mindful of where the pattern specifies to turn your work at the end of a round.
Construction: This pattern is crocheted in one piece from the top-down. You will begin with the neckline and work a few increase rounds until reaching your unique yoke depth. Then you will work partial rows across the back edge to create short-rows that will help raise the back-neck for a better fitting garment. After the short-rows, you will join your work once again to work in the round while skipping over a specified number of stitches to create two armholes. The body is worked next, and the short sleeves are worked last.
