This slouchy Beanie and Cowl set is worked in a beautiful lace stitch, on larger needles, to create an open, airy, fabric. The Cowl can be worn long and loose, or wrapped twice for extra warmth. The gradual colour change in the yarn creates extra interest for this design.

Beanie to fit head: 56cm 22 ins.

Cowl depth: 40cm 16 ins.

Cowl length: 120cm 47 ins.

Yarn required: 1 ball Plassard Miroir, 150g balls@480m.

Needles required: A pair of 5.50mm UK 5, US 9 knitting needles.
A pair of 6.00mm UK 4, US 10 knitting needles.
Wool needle for sewing up.

Tension: 14.5 sts and 19 rows to 10cm 4 ins over patt, using 6.00mm needles.
This pattern is worked on larger needles and at a looser tension than usually recommended.
