Sylvia is a more than half circle shawl worked from the center out. It features an art deco inspired design with a branching sunburst pattern in a mesh background that is surprisingly quick to make despite its large size.

The sample shown was made with approximately 1200 yards of lace weight yarn but it can easily be adjusted to the yarn of your choice. To adjust the size simply stop crocheting and follow the finishing instructions when the shawl has reached the desired size.
