Sylvia’s Providence is named for the Yankee Dyer’s mother. This is a sideways shawl, designed to use up most of your skein. Weigh it at the start and increase until you’re halfway through, then decrease.

Finished Size: 17x70” once blocked
Yarn: Yankee Dyer Yankee Crush, 70% Bluefaced Leicester, 20% Silk, 10% Cashmere, 438 yards/100 grams. Sample knit in Beaches.

Needles: 24” circular needle size 4 US (3.50 mm), or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 18 stitches/ 28 rows per 4 inches in wet-blocked stockinette. Gauge is not critical for this item, but it will affect drape and amount of yarn used.
