Symmetria Scarf
This scarf is knitted in two identical pieces, which are joined using kitchener stitch. In this way the shawl will become symmetrical.
The scarf measures approximately 14 by 69 in / 35 by 175 cm and uses up around 550 yards / 500 meters of laceweight yarn. Naturally the size and texture of the scarf can be altered by using different kind of yarn and/or needles.
The lace pattern is charted only. There are two charts and the lace pattern is very versatile. The selvedge stitches are garter stitch.
The yarn used with sample is Regia Lace (71 % New Wool, 29 % Polyamide, 600 m/100 g). For this scarf I would suggest any laceweight yarn based on wool, merino or alpaca and a solid or semi-solid colourway.
