Symphony Infinity Scarf
The subtly shifting shades of the recommended yarn (Hearthside Fibers DK) create a symphonic play of colors in perfect harmony.
The scarf is crocheted in one piece, in the round, starting with lushly textured diamonds and picots. The rippling center section is crocheted next, then the border section is repeated.
Photo tutorials of special stitches are included with the written instructions. Skill level: Advanced.
I had one skein of the yarn at over 700 yards, and used about 500 yards of it for an infinity scarf/cowl measuring 8” wide x 52” circumference, however, instructions are included for making a shorter or longer scarf.
I love the yarn: it’s 85% Polwarth, 15% silk. What’s not to like?! It’s smooth, soft, light, fluffy, and warm.
This pattern looks good, though, with any DK weight yarn, tonal, variegated, solid, or self-striping.
