Through March 31, $3 of each purchase will be donated to Christian Aid Ministries, a Mennonite organization with a continuing presence in Haiti.

The Symphony Scarf is a sampler style project, designed to give the intermediate lace knitter an opportunity to experiment with some more adventurous stitches without committing to an entire project using dozens of them. Symphony employs a figure 8 provisional cast on, nupps, bobbles, clusters, centered eyelets, knitted on edgings, a smattering of beads, and a wide assortment of single and double increases and decreases, all nestled into a simple, repeating background fabric.

The 10-page, carefully tested pattern includes 6 full pages of easy to read, professional quality charts. This pattern is entirely charted because it does not contain any repeating rows. However, a computer generated, stitch-by-stitch version is available free of charge from the designer, if requested at time of purchase. A more traditionally prepared line-by-line is currently being written and tested, and the updated version will be provided as soon as available to those who get the current version.

The Symphony scarf is available for purchase as a .pdf download here on Ravelry, and a paper copy can be purchased through the designer’s Etsy shop.
