Syna Cowl
Please enjoy this free pattern. My enjoyment comes from creating and giving back a little something to the knitting community. If you would like to support the creation of future patterns, please consider making a small contribution via Paypal to: Paypal.me/Viktionary
Contributions go towards purchasing yarn for future designs and the occasional Earl Grey latte to keep the fires of creativity fueled. Regardless of whether you contribute or not, thank you for your support and kind words on my patterns.
I found a couple of skeins of this yarn which has a bit of a fuzzy halo to it in my yarn stash. I wanted to make something texturally interesting and try something that I hadn’t tried before. I settled on a motif that has each ‘column’ of stitches grow to 7 stitches then reduce down to a single stitch before repeating. The result is an open “eye” shape where the stitch grows, so I named this cowl Syna which is an Old English word for an eye.
