This shawl was designed to showcase hand painted yarn. The pattern is more subdued, but still striking in a tonal or even solid yarn. This shawl begins with a traditional crescent shape; at the point when patterning begins, the design expands into three “wings”. The finished shawl is almost semi-circular, but with enhanced drape due to the crescent start.
