Syyskuu means september in finnish. Somehow the earthy tones and creating something new from things you already have brings autumn to my mind. This is a perfect opportunity to utilise scrap yarns!

Syyskuu socks are knitted cuff down using magic loop, altering the lace and stripes. Socks have heel flap and gusset heel construction.

You’ll need:
55(65)75g of fingering weigh scrap yarn (for example Novita Venla or Filcolana Arwetta or similar fingering weight yarn 210m/50g) in your main color (mc)
3-5g or 13-21m of two different fingering weight contrast colors each (cc1 and cc2)
2mm ja 80cm circular needles or needles that give you the right gauge
Yarning needle for grafting the toes

Gauge:
26sts/44rounds = 10cm on 2mm needles in stitch pattern in the round on magic loop (before blocking, measured from the cuff).
Always choose the needles that give you the recommended gauge.

Sizes: 1/24cm (2/26cm) 3/28cm measured from the cuff

If you have any questions, don´t hesitate to ask! Happy knitting!
