This pattern is a top-down Raglan pattern, and can work up quickly after you split the yoke! It’s also a “trust the process” pattern, as one of my testers said at the end of the test ;)

The gauge of the Top is met by using a thinner #4 weight yarn, and a 5mm hook, but some DK/#3 weight can also meet gauge. Recommended yarn is a Cotton blend, lightweight Cotton, or Bamboo, so it is breathable and comfortable to wear in on warmer days.

The top has a regular fit but is easily customizable if you want it more fitted or loose. The top also has a tapered waist, that gives a small poof and makes the top sit above/on your hips. There are also suggestions for alterations for a less tapered waistband.
The sleeves are tapered as well, with room for customizing.

The set sizes in the pattern are XS/S/M/L/XL/2XL/3XL/4XL.

The top is fairly easy, so a beginner can definitely manage!

Thank you for looking!
