T-rex Amigurumi Pattern

Quick and cute toy for any dino loving child or adult. Suitable for babies if you make it with baby-safe yarn and weave in the ends thoroughly.

This is a written pattern using American crochet terminology with photos and detailed instructions for assembly. The pattern is in English. Available in PDF and printable PDF (without pictures) format.

Skill level: Intermediate
(The pattern uses simple crochet techniques like double crochet, magic ring, back loop only, etc.)

Time to complete: 4-6 hours

Yarn: Sport weight (50g = 176m). Designed to work with yarn of any size.

Hook: 2 mm or the size to fit your chosen yarn.
Make sure to go 1-2 sizes down from the size recommended by your yarn, as it is typical for amigurumis

Other materials: felt sheet or other stiff fabric (for the teeth)

Size: L: 16 cm W: 6 cm H: 8 cm
(size depends on your chosen yarn-hook combo)

Note: the T-rex doesn’t stand on its own.
There is an option included in the pattern to make little stands out of paperclips that can hold the it by the legs.
