T rex
Trex done in amigurumi style. I use the yarn under technique in all of my stitching, it helps to make it a tighter fabric. This pattern comes with 2 versions of the t rex. There are photos for every step. Including assembly. There are tips on keeping tight enough tension, and the pattern is written clearly. Inc- increase, 2 sc in the indicated stitch.
In addition to your yarn, hook, and a crochet needle you also need a set of safety eyes. These can be bought at many craft and sewing stores or online.
To change the size you can use a smaller hook, a heavier yarn with a 5mm hook, a lighter weight yarn with a smaller hook. Otherwise it is 11”-13” tall depending on how you sew it together, tension, and how firmly you stuff. Gauge isn’t overly important, as long as you follow the stitching instructions and have even tension your dinosaur will be proportional as pictured.
I’ve found that the large bernat skeins are enough 1 of each color. But if I buy caron simply soft I need 2 of the main color and 1 of the accent color. 50g balls would require more.
