All you need is an old t-shirt made into yarn, valeriana root or catnip herb and a small bell, and in less than an ½ hour you have a durable and attractive toy for your cats.

MAIN MATERIALS AND TOOLS:

1. T-shirt yarn
2. Crochet hook 7mm
3. Valeriana root or Catnip leaves depending on what attracts your cat. Mine are totally indifferent to catnip plant and as a result I ended up using the leaves for tea, but they get seduced by valerian root. I’m not sure but I think you can try essential oil instead.
4. Very thin material (muslin is quite good) and threaded needle to create a herb sachet
5. Polyfill
