Crochet pattern written for a 1-3/4 inch wide by 5 inch long cast iron skillet handle. Cover can be made tighter by working a decrease on each side of the 2nd to last round so your cover fits more snug.

Pattern is crocheted using a t-shirt strip cut in one continuous strand only 1/4 inch wide and then gently stretched to create what I call curled t-yarn. Pattern requires only a small amount of t-yarn cut from a cotton t-shirt.
