Der Tabalino ist im Original ein Ein-Knäuel-Projekt, also ein kleines Tuch,
alles was Du benötigst ist nach Möglichkeit ein schönes Farbverlaufsgarn ohne Farbwiederholung.

Solche Garne findest Du z.B. Bei 100Farbspiele und bei mir, mittlerweile gibt es extra handgefärbte Tabalinowolle hier findest du sie.

Mein Originaltuch besteht aus
100g 4 fädiger Sockenwolle, 420m.
3er Stricknadel ca. 1,20m

Ohne weiteres kannst Du es aus dickerem Garn stricken.
(Die Stricktechnik bleibt gleich.)!

4 Maschenmarkierer sind hilfreich.
Das Tuch ist 4x testgestrickt.

Das Tuch entwickelt durch die Zunahmen eine Asymmetrie.!

Seinen Namen erhielt das Tuch, weil es mich an Tabaluga erinnerte.

“Tabalino” is a one-skein project, preferably made from a nice long color repeat/gradient yarn.
I used fingering weight yarn with a yardage of 420 m (460 yds) per 100 g (3.5 oz), but this may be knit from any thicker yarn as well.
The 8-page-pattern contains a detailed row-by-row description for the whole project, with technique explanations for the short row sections and the German short-row technique used for the doubled-up stitches.

You need to know: co, k, p, kfb, yo, German short-row doubled-up stitch (explained). Almost the whole project is worked in garter stitch, with a few purls on the WS of the rests (the narrow stripes seen in the photos).

You will need:
– Yarn: 90 g total with a yardage of 420 m (460 yds) per 100 g (3.5 oz), shawlette in photos made from Drachenwolle (a contrasting yarn for the rests might be needed, or work from both ends of the skein)
– Circular knitting needle 3 mm (between US 2 and 3), at least 120 cm (48 inches) long
– 4 stitch markers

Please note that this shawlette will look best if properly blocked. Instructions for soaking and blocking will be added to the pattern shortly.
